  • Double and even triple-check everything before it gets printed. Don’t trust your eyes! Also get a family member or a friend to check your order before it goes out. This includes invitations, response cards, envelopes, wedding programs, everything! Regardless of if you're doing them yourself, or having them professionally printed, SEARCH FOR SPELLING ERRORS!
  • If your wedding's going to be held outdoors be sure that you let your guests know, so they can dress appropriately.

I recently had the great privilege of having a shoot with Nathan Migal of Imagen Photography and Videography. Jon and I were looking to add some pictures of ourselves to the website so our clients could see what we look like as they read about the company. I wanted the pictures to be as professional as possible and that's exactly what I got. Nate picked us up and took us downtown to shoot at a few of his favorite spots. I was so impressed with how the whole experience turned out. Not only did the pictures turn out great, but it was a ton of fun working with Nate. Stop and Smell the Flowers.

 

Your wedding day is going to be one of twists, turns, and excitement. It's so hard to keep up with everything that's going on at the party and it's very easy to loose track of time in the process. Most brides say that their reception just flies by, and before they know it they're on the plane for their honeymoon.

Bridal tip #24 is stop and smell the flowers. Make it a point to stop sometime in the night, and just take it all in. This is an evening that will only come once in your life, take some time to absorb the magic. Don't let your evening overwhelm you with pressure, that's what you hired us for. I know the saying is "stop and smell the roses" but you get the point. ;-)
